Safety issues- Mandatory chest plates and rib protectors for non-adults (under 18 years old). 18 and older is recommended but
not required. Armadillos are the best deal we have found so far. $129 from Comet Kart Sales. These are worth your kid's safety.
Racing jackets (skid proof) are required.
Motorcycle jackets are allowed. NO T-shirts, flannel shirts, or flimsy jackets.
Neckbraces and racing gloves are required when on the track.
Helmets- We are going to follow WKA rule "115.1 Head gear: Full coverage (full face) helmets designed for competitive
motorsports use are mandatory and must comply with one of the following:

*Do not go out and buy new helmets yet, our insurance still allows full face Snell 95 rated helmets. We are
just preparing for WKA in our future.*

Until we are WKA sanctioned we will allow the running of multiple classes. With the age requirements being met. Examples:
Purple and Blue, Blue and Gold, Gold and Stock Classes.

Lone Oak Speedway weight rules are posted at the scale area.

Lone Oak Speedway reserves the right to perform any Tech Procedure as it sees fit.

NO SMOKING within 25 feet of pit shack because of fueling area.

Top 3 Karts MUST stay in impound unless running multiple classes. You must be checked by the tech official before being
released.

Fighting, Profanity and Disorderly Conduct WILL NOT be tolerated. Zero Tolerance!

Drugs, alcohol, and weapons are prohibited.

No Open Flames Means No Torches Allowed In The Pits If Caught Will Be Disqualified And Asked To Leave Plus No Refunds!

ALL drivers MUST attend the drivers meeting.

Race programs consist of 1 Heat Race and 1 Main Race with a 15 minute intermission between the races if time permits.

All races will start
double file, if a caution comes out it will be a double file restart.

All classes will have a full course caution.

Any karter that spins out (3) times on his or her own will be black-flagged.

Once a kart leaves the racing surface they can not re-enter the race.

ABSOLUTELY no one other than track personnel will be allowed on the track during a race unless given direct permission by a
track official.

Please leave the starting grid area after assisting your karter, to allow the next class to set-up on the grid for the next race.

At no time can you or a member of your crew work on a kart on the track unless approved by a track official. Must be a safety
issue.

Drivers are responsible for their crew members. Any irresponsible actions by the driver and/or any crew member can lead to
disqualification.

Lap Karts-Karts lapped by the leader are a lap down to the entire field. If a caution flag is displayed at any time during the race,
these karts will line up at the rear of the lead karts.

Any calls and/or problems that may arise can be discussed with Michael McInerney.

A calm and pleasant attitude is a MUST when discussing a call.

We ask that all ADULTS AND CHILDREN please keep off railings and fences; we also ask that you stay off the scales and out of
the grid areas for your safety.

We ask that all parents provide supervision to their children while at the track. We are very concerned for their safety.

Lone Oak Speedway will do it's best to provide a fair race for everyone.

Lone Oak Speedway reserves the right to make changes to these rules. All changes will be posted before being enforced.

Rain Checks:

Gate fees will not be refunded. If a race is canceled or not completed due to rain, your ticket stub will be honored at the NEXT
scheduled race.

ENTRY FEE rain checks will be paid back as follows: In case of rain prior to completion of all heat races and the races are
canceled - Winners payout will be added to the next scheduled event.

If rained out before features start, you will need your wristband and $5 to enter the next scheduled event.



Protesting:
$200 ($175 goes to the winning party and $25 to Tech Official)
If found illegal winnings will go to the next finish position.
